FanDuel Cheat Sheet Week 2 – 2015 Fantasy Football!

We’re back, baby! That’s right, we’re a week late, but is back on track with their FanDuel Cheat Sheet Week 2. Daily Fantasy Football is about to get very interesting in the coming weeks, and we’ll be here discussing the ins and outs of building lineups and taking advantage of good DFS values.

While we mostly serve FanDuel owners on this site (I happen to be a columnist for FanDuel Insider, writing a couple features each week for them), but we also have check boxes so you can get my DFS picks for a Draft Kings Cheat Sheet Week 2 and for

Before we get too far into this FanDuel cheat sheet, I’d also like to point out a couple other DFS articles you might be interested in:

Also, if any of this Daily Fantasy Football talk is foreign to you, I provided a DFS glossary here, that you can reference.

So heading into Week 2, we’ve learned a few things and we’ve become curious about a few other things. There were a number of games expected to come close to 50 total points in Week 1, and offenses did not disappoint, with an impressive seven games hitting 49 points or more.

Heck, two of the best defenses in the NFL (Rams and Seahawks) were involved in a game that finished with a game that totaled 61 points! There were seven touchdowns scored between both teams – but don’t blame the defenses, as three of those touchdowns came on defensive scores.

So for Week 2, I like totals to buoy down just a bit, as I think offenses would normally take a little longer to mesh together. Yes, again, I know that the Broncos/Chiefs game from Thursday night already went over, with a total of 55 points on an over/under that finished at 42. But – again – there were two defensive touchdowns in that game, too.

FanDuel Cheat Sheet Week 2 — NFL Over/Unders

Either way, let’s talk about the games expected to be the highest scoring – and which players might benefit the most!

Atlanta at N.Y. Giants – 51 over/under

Surprisingly, Eli Manning put up a stinker in Sunday’s game against the Cowboys – and we’re all well aware of how he really screwed up at the end of the game. Those are reasons to be upset in season Fantasy play, but happy in DFS, since most other people will steer clear of him in Week 2. Victor Cruz (knee, calf) is still sidelined, so Odell Beckham Jr. and Rueben Randle are good gambles for big days.

Although, it will be interesting to see how Dan Quinn’s Falcons defense does this week. The Falcons showed improvement, but I still like Manning on FanDuel. His $8,000 price tag is expensive enough to not have bargain hunters using him and he’s cheap enough to not be a salary albatross.

Dallas at Philadelphia – 55 over/under

This has all the makings of a FanDuel-stravaganza!

Even with Dez Bryant (foot) sideline for a couple months and Tony Romo battling back issues, this Cowboys offense is going to move the ball through the air. It’s going to be a pick-your-poison kinda situation, whether you roll with Terrance Williams ($6,300) or Cole Beasley ($5,700). Both should see more targets, but both also got two red-zone targets last week anyway.

One random roll of the dice in a GPP could be Devin Street ($4,500), who’ll likely line up on the other side of Williams, with Beasley in the slot.

Seattle at Green Bay – 48 over/under

Nick Foles actually looked pretty good against a Kam Chancellor-less Seahawks defense last week, so you can imagine that Aaron Rodgers is going to have a better chance at Fantasy success. Just like last week, when we recommended playing Rodgers despite the fact he was the most expensive player in FanDuel’s game, we like him again this week in tournaments as a contrarian play.

Other NFL over/unders for Week 2:

  • Houston at Carolina (39.5)
  • Tampa Bay at New Orleans (48.5)
  • San Francisco at Pittsburgh (45.5)
  • Detroit at Minnesota (43.5)
  • New England at Buffalo (44.5)
  • Arizona at Chicago (45)
  • Tennessee at Cleveland (41.5)
  • San Diego at Cincinnati (47)
  • Louis at Washington (41.5)
  • Baltimore at Oakland (43)
  • Miami at Jacksonville (41.5)
  • Y. Jets at Indianapolis (46.5)

Now, let’s get to the best values and rankings for Week 2.
