Early Week 8 FanDuel Lineup For FNTSY Network

We’re back for another early bird special! Every couple weeks, I join the great guys over at FNTSY Network for a phone chat, and we dig into what lineup I would roll with if I had to set one on Tuesday. And my early Week 8 lineup is full of talking points!

First, though, there are a few things we should discuss about the upcoming week, including the fact that there is another London game this week – the third (and final) London game of the season! So the Lions and Chiefs will do battle at 9:30am ET – take note of that if you want to get in on any Calvin Johnson action against that rough Chiefs secondary.

Also, Week 8 brings a solid set of passing games coming off of bye weeks, including the Bears, Bengals, Broncos and Packers. (OK, the Broncos passing game could be better, but still…)

Look at those wide receivers returning to the mix: Alshon Jeffery, A.J. Green, Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Randall Cobb and James Jones!

My Early Week 8 FanDuel lineup!

Philip Rivers, QB, San Diego at BAL: He faces the worst QB defense in the league, and he has averaged 57 pass attempts over past three games, since return of Antonio Gates (knee), who is expected back this week.

Doug Martin, RB, Tampa Bay at ATL: Bucs have to avoid the pass, Falcons allow a ton of points to RBs, and including an NFL-high 73.43 rec yards to RBs. Martin has decent hands out of the backfield. Some might be tempted with Alfred Blue, with Arian Foster (Achilles’) out for the year, but he’s facing a Titans defense that has held up well against the rush.

Todd Gurley, RB, St. Louis vs. SF: In his past three games, Gurley has averaged 21.1 FanDuel points, with just Devonta Freeman averaging more since Week 4. Gurley is coming off his best game, and he’s facing a Niners D allowing fifth-most Fantasy points to RBs.

Week 8 FanDuel LineupsJarvis Landry, WR, Miami at New England: He’s coming off a big game, and since it was a blowout, he played just a little bit in the second half. The Patriots are allowing a lot of Fantasy points to wide receivers, and Landry is the top playmaker in Miami right now.

Stefon Diggs, WR, Minnesota at CHI: Over the past four weeks, there have only been four other WRs posting more FanDuel points per game than Diggs, and now he faces the bad Bears secondary.

Steve Smith, WR, Baltimore vs. KC: The Chiefs are the worst at slowing down Fantasy wide receivers, allowing them an average of 32.57 Fantasy points this season. And Smith was healthy enough to play against a tough Cardinals secondary in Week 7 on Monday night.

Travis Kelce, TE, Kansas City at DET: Under $6K, I love Kelce against a Lions team that has given up five touchdown catches to tight ends this season. It’s time for Kelce to score his first TD since Week 1!

I really wanted to fit Tyler Eifert in here. He has three touchdowns in his past two games and he faces a Steelers defense that has allowed the second-most TDs per game to TEs behind Oakland. I’m skipping Gronk this week, as Dolphins have kept opposing TEs scoreless in three games this season, plus I went with expensive QBs and RBs.

Josh Lambo, K, San Diego at BAL: The Ravens are giving up the most points to kickers this season, and Lambo is at the FanDuel minimum, despite 10 field-goal attempts in his past four games. Former MLS goalie!

Houston Texans Defense vs. TEN: The Oilers Bowl! The Titans offense is giving up THE most Fantasy points to opposing defenses, including 3.50 sacks per game, which Houston will capitalize on.

So that’s my early Week 8 FanDuel lineup for Daily Fantasy Football cash games – how are your lineups stacking up!?!
