Early Week 3 FanDuel Lineup For Daily Fantasy Football

Earlier today, I jumped on the phone with host Chris Meaney at FNTSY.com, Fantasy Sports Network, and I shared with him my early look at a Week 3 FanDuel Lineup for Daily Fantasy Football.

So I thought I’d share that lineup with my readers over here, too. I’ll also drop in the YouTube video of our phone call, so you can see all the great work they’re doing over there. Nando Di Fino covers Draft Kings and Chris Meaney does a mean job covering FanDuel games.

One thing I’d like to point out as we put Week 2 behind us and start looking ahead to Week 3 on FanDuel. I took a look at the Vegas over/under lines and found something we haven’t seen this season so far – no games are expected to total 50 or more points this week!

Daily Fantasy Five: Getting a Grip on NFL Week 2

While my goal is to post something on Daily Fantasy Sports every day, sometimes it’s going to be a handful of my favorite Daily Fantasy links, which I’ll call the Daily Fantasy Five.

Yesterday, we posted our FanDuel Cheat Sheet Week 2, and I plan on posting that every week. That doesn’t count as one of my favorite links, but I wanted you to be aware of it, too. While it defaults to FanDuel, you can also use the dropdown to use it for Draft Kings, FantasyAces and Yahoo!.

1. Week 2 Daily Fantasy Football: Value Based Drafting Targets

Over on SoCalledFantasyExperts.com, Michael Tomlin @Tomlin3 wrote a great piece that broke down how he uses a common strategy for yearly Fantasy, but for DFS – value based drafting. Like me, he thinks Jameis Winston offers great value for Week 2 against the Saints, and he shares a solid “All-Value Team” that you’ll enjoy.

Daily Fantasy Football Week 2 DraftKings Cheat Sheet

Welcome to Week 2 of the Daily Fantasy Football season! Well, I mean, it’s actually Week 2 of the NFL season and of traditional Fantasy Football, but let’s be honest, you’re here because you’re a DFS guy.

There are plenty of good matchups in Week 2, and there are a few players at each position I like a little more than others. For instance, I like Andrew Luck Monday night against Philadelphia, who the Jaguars had pretty good success against.

I also like Matt Asiata as a super-cheap play against a Patriots team that struggled to stop the Dolphins run game.

Week 1 Draft Day Rapid Fire Picks

This is easily one of my favorite Daily Fantasy Football games every year – and I believe these Week 1 Draft Day Rapid Fire picks are going to make us some money!

It’s such an easy game to play – and you don’t even have to gamble any money!

You can play it for free, with a chance to win $1. That’s a good deal!

It’s basically a game where you pick one player among five pairs of players you think will do the best this week.

For instance, here’s who they have going in Week 1.

Week 1 Draft Day Rapid Fire Picks

Week 1 Draft Day Rapid Fire Picks

So, let’s break those matchups down real quick.

Class of 2012 QBs: If you believe Luck is going to be in a shootout, he might be the better pick for you. Foles lost a lot this offseason when DeSean Jackson went to Washington, but he now has Darren Sproles and a better Zach Ertz. MY PICK: Foles

Battle of NY QBs: I already mentioned how I love Geno this week on DraftKings, but that’s in salary play. Manning faces a tough front seven, but if he gets even a little bit of time, he’s going to hurt this secondary. MY PICK: Manning

Mediocre NFL WR1s: The Patriots picked up CB Darrelle Revis this offseason, and the Saints should pick apart this Falcons defense once again. MY PICK: Colston

Sophomore vs. Veteran: I’m going to need Patterson to prove something to me before I take him over V-Jax. MY PICK: Jackson

Tight Ends in Texas: The 49ers is missing about half of its starters from a year ago defensively, but this Cowboys defense could be the worst in the NFL again. MY PICK: Davis

Let us know who your picks are in the comments below! We’re up against the house, so we can help each other with our Week 1 Draft Day Rapid Fire picks!

Fave 5 Fantasy Picks for Week 1 on DraftKings

Fave 5 Fantasy Picks for Week 1 on DraftKings

When you’re filling out your Fantasy Football lineup in Week 1 on DraftKings, I want you to think about using this handful of players in your lineup!

Geno Smith, QB, N.Y. Jets ($6,500): It sounds crazy, I know … But I have started to become a Smith fan over the offseason, as I think he’ll pick up plenty of points with his feet – and with a legitimate red-zone threat like Eric Decker, he’ll pick up some passing touchdowns too. Only the Vikings allowed more passing touchdowns last season.

Drew Brees, QB, Atlanta ($9,700): If you’d rather spend high on quarterback, which is usually a sound strategy, Brees has a great matchup against a team that he threw for 635 yards and four touchdowns against in two games last season.

Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Arizona ($3,000): With Andre Ellington (foot) a gametime decision, I like Dwyer on the cheap, because even if the second-year back plays, he can’t be effective.

DeMarco Murray, RB, Dallas ($6,800): He’s healthy and he’s facing a Niners defense that is a shell of its former self.

Ladarius Green, TE, San Diego ($3,200): Another Monday night starter possibly replacing an injured guy (Antonio Gates (hamstring)), Green will face the Cardinals, who allowed the most Fantasy points to tight ends all of last season.

Bonus Player to Avoid – Antonio Brown, WR, Pittsburgh ($7,500): You might be hearing how Brown has done pretty good against Browns CB Joe Haden in past seasons – don’t believe it.

Good luck in Week 1 on DraftKings!
